Bow River Seniors Lodge Phase II

Canmore, Alberta

Project Description

The 52,000 sq. ft. continuing care facility provides 60 supportive living Level units, as well as supportive living for dementia patients to the Town of Canmore.

The two-storey facility is divided into four areas including the common and public spaces, Bow Valley Regional Housing offices, and the back-of-house area. The back-of-house connects to the common areas of the Phase 1 building, which remained operational throughout construction. The facility projects a modern, mountain cottage-style appearance to blend in with the local architecture and scenery and will allow local seniors to remain in the community with an aging-in-place approach to care.
