We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our sustainability and diversity initiatives: Clark Builders has achieved the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business’s (CCAB) Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) Bronze certification. This achievement underscores our steadfast commitment to enhancing Indigenous inclusion and engagement across our organization and projects.
The CCAB PAR program is a rigorous certification process that evaluates and recognizes Canadian businesses' commitment to fostering positive relationships with Indigenous communities, both economically and socially.
On October 19th, select members of our Indigenous Relations team had the honour of representing Clark Builders at the CCAB PAR Award Dinner to receive this prestigious award. The evening was truly inspiring, filled with opportunities to celebrate Indigenous excellence and share success stories alongside fellow PAR recipients. It was a night of meaningful connections and profound insights, reaffirming Clark Builders’ commitment to fostering inclusivity and engagement within our organization.
Our Commitment to PAR Bronze Certification is founded on four pillars:
- Leadership Commitment: Our leadership team has demonstrated a strong commitment to Indigenous relations, fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
- Indigenous Engagement: We actively engage with Indigenous communities to create opportunities for collaboration, employment, and partnerships.
- Business Development: We actively include Indigenous suppliers, partners, and subcontractors in our supply chain and business operations.
- Community Investment: We invest in initiatives that contribute to the well-being and development of Indigenous communities.
This accomplishment is a result of the collective dedication and collaboration of our entire team. We express our sincere gratitude to our exceptional employees whose ongoing support for these initiatives has been instrumental in reaching this remarkable goal.
Why This Matters
Achieving CCAB PAR Bronze certification highlights our commitment to sustainable growth, diversity, and the enduring success of our projects. This achievement demonstrates our dedication to fostering strong relationships with Indigenous communities and advancing economic reconciliation.
We firmly believe that by collaboratively embracing the principles of the CCAB PAR program, we are shaping a more inclusive future for all.
Again, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our team, clients, partners, and the Indigenous communities we've had the privilege of working with. This achievement would not have been possible without your support and collaboration. As we move forward, we remain committed to furthering our Indigenous engagement efforts and are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. Together, we can build a better tomorrow.
