When Clark Builders made the decision to relocate their headquarters, our team knew that creating a collaborative work environment was a top priority. Working closely with the architect, our team created a modern and open office space that would promote teamwork and engagement.
To achieve this, we implemented a range of tenant improvements across floors 7, 8, and 9, including structural reinforcement and modifications, a new architectural layout, and changes to the mechanical and electrical systems. We also incorporated aesthetic upgrades and interior design applications throughout the space. One of the standout features is a striking staircase that connects all three floors, encouraging movement and interaction among employees.
The new office space boasts open workstations, a variety of break-out spaces (including NOW rooms and traditional meeting rooms), and a grand central kitchen that employees can access throughout the day. The design was intentionally flexible and adaptable, ensuring that the space can meet the evolving needs of the business today and in the future.
The overall ambiance of the space is modern and inviting, with wood baffles, exposed ceilings, polished concrete, and hardwood and carpet tiles creating a warm atmosphere. Custom millwork, vinyl graphics, and stylized fixtures add unique touches, while ample natural light streams in from the large windows. To enhance the office's technological capabilities, we upgraded the teleconferencing system and implemented meeting room display options and office-wide messaging.
In addition to aesthetic and technological upgrades, sustainability was a key consideration for the project. We took steps to reduce the overall footprint of the office, including the use of LED lighting, the elimination of single-use water bottles, and the installation of low-flow water fixtures. Our efforts have already resulted in a 30% reduction in overall energy consumption, and we have plans for further improvements in future phases.
Overall, the new Clark Builders office is a testament to the power of thoughtful design, construction, and collaboration, creating a space that fosters creativity, productivity, and sustainability.
